Big Brother Naija two-time contestant, Doyinsola David simply known a Doyin, has recalled how a brand terminated her contract because of an interview.
The reality TV star who appeared on an episode of the CreativiTEA podcast with Lynda, said she had granted an interview and said certain things which a brand she worked for as an ambassador did not like, so they let her go.
According to Doyin, the company, whose name she did not disclose also demanded refund of the money he wa given as payment for the endorsement deal.
She said; “There is no bad or good brand. I had a brand that dropped me. They had signed me and paid me the money, but they called and asked for a refund, and it was because of an interview I did. And to be fair to them, I deserved to be dropped because why did I talk?”
In another part of the interview Doyin admitted that her personality during the ‘Level Up’ edition in 2022 was a ‘fake’ one.
The podcaster said that when she left the reality show, she hated the fact that she was pretending to be a pacifist which created the narrative that she is a mature person.
Doyin said that was not really her true character because she is actually one that loves to fight as opposed to the person fans watched on their screens.
She said; “My first run wasn’t my best run, to be honest. I have been on the show twice, and I came out of the show, and I hated it. I was fake. I came out with the narrative that Doyin is too mature. She is always trying to talk things out; that’s not really me oo. In real life, I fight”.
