Former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak put the South African’s team ahead in the 29th minute after Al Feiha had a player dismissed just four minutes into the Saudi Pro League encounter.

Abdelhamid Sabiri, however, equalised in added time of the first half, before Zambia international Fashion Sakala struck twice to give the home side a 3-1 lead going into the final minutes of the match.

Ahmed Abdu Jaber’s 97th-minute goal for Abha Club proved to be nothing more than a consolation, with the result meaning they remain 17th on the table.

Abha’s players will be disappointed they could not take advantage of playing against 10 men, though they are still within reach of 16th-placed Al Tai, who suffered a 4-1 defeat to Al Ahli on Saturday.

Mosimane, who drew his first game in charge, will see his side go up against Al Tai this coming Friday in what will be a must-win clash for the ex-Mamelodi Sundowns coach.
