Klopp For Germany Job? DFB Boss Responds!

Jurgen Klopp has said he is committed to Liverpool.

DFB vice-president Ronny Zimmermann has responded to talk about Jurgen Klopp possibly coaching Germany after it was revealed he will leave Liverpool.

Klopp announced on Friday that he will be ending his tenure with the Premier League outfit at the end of the current season.

The news sent shockwaves around Europe considering Liverpool are still in position to win four trophies this season while Klopp has two years left on his contract.

Germany are preparing for the European Championship in June, but Zimmermann says a discussion could be table for Klopp after the tournament.

“I don’t think we need to talk about the fact that Jurgen Klopp is a brilliant coach,” Zimmerman said, as per Goal.

“We also don’t have to talk about the fact that he could also be a candidate for national coach.

“But the time for making wishes like these was Christmas. After the European Championships we will talk about the national coach and not about what we might wish for.

“But I could well live with Jurgen Klopp, like many others I think.”

Klopp, meanwhile, stated that he does not plan to take up a new coaching job next year.

“Whatever will happen in the future I don’t know now but no club, no country for the next year,” Klopp said, as per France 24.

“No other English club ever, I can promise that.”
