According to Spanish publication Sport, the 31-year-old has offered his services to the cash-strapped Barcelona.

Lingard has been a free agent since leaving Nottingham Forest at the end of last season, and is believed to be determined to get his career back on track in 2024.

The midfielder had been linked with a return to West Ham United, where he spent six months in 2021, while he was also open to a move to Saudi Arabia and the MLS.

The report claims Lingard could be an appealing option for the Catalan giants, who have been limited to making free signings in recent campaigns given their economic state.

Barcelona are currently third in LALIGA, behind second-placed Girona and league leaders Real Madrid.
