Birmingham City have confirmed the departure of the English tactician little more than two months after appointing the 38-year-old.

The club were fighting for a play-off position when the Liverpool native took the job after John Eustace was relieved of his duties, but they now sit in 20th position on the Championship log, only a couple of spots off the relegation zone.
