Two Ex-Real Star Linked With Shock Return

Real Madrid have been linked with a shock move for two of their former players ahead of the new season.

The Red Devils are set to undergo a number of changes at the end of the season following the arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe as a co-owner.

One of Ratcliffe’s role will be to reduce the wage bill, which could see big names leave, including Raphael Varane and Casemiro.

According to Fichajes, both Varane and Casemiro could be back on their way to the Santiago Bernabeu next season if deals are put forward by the club.

Casemiro’s deal with the Red Devils expires in 2026 while Varane has one year remaining on his current deal.

Both players were heavily linked with departures in the recent January transfer window, but they since made a return to the team to help with their pursuit of a top four spot.

The report does add that both former Los Blancos stars have attracted interest from the Saudi Pro League, which could be more financially beneficial for both players.

As for the Red Devils, the new co-owner is reportedly looking sell up to 11 first team players in the off-season as part of a major overhaul of the club.
