Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has reportedly made a final decision on the offer to coach Algeria.

The French legend has been without a coaching job since parting ways with Los Blancos in 2021 after being heavily linked with a move to Serie A giants Juventus.

Zidane has since reportedly received an offer from the Algerian national side, who sacked Djamel Belmadi after the team’s group stage elimination at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Desert Foxes have been eliminated at the group stage phase in the last two tournaments and have failed to win a single game in that period.

According to French outlet L’Equipe, Zidane was Algeria’s first choice to replace Belmadi but the former Los Blancos coach rejected the offer.

The 51-year-old remains connected with the contry of Algeira, which is the birth nation of both his parents.

The report adds Zidane is waiting for a club role in 2024 after also turning down offers from Brazil and USA.

The Frenchman was quite successful during his time with Los Blancos after leading the team to 11 trophies, including three UEFA Champions League titles.
